In the era of informatization and knowledge-driven economy, the core competitionamong enterprises lies in talents. Human resources management in enterprises isbecoming even more important and touches on the rise and decline of the enterprises.Performance assessment is one of vital elements in HRM. Therefore, it is of realisticimportance to establish scientific and effective staff performance assessment system tohelp improve the performance of the staff members, enhance the enterprises’competitiveness and realize enterprises’ objectives.This dissertation takes Shouqin company as object of study and combines theadvanced theory of both domestic and overseas and the practice of the performanceassessment system of relative companies. It makes a deep study and analysis for theexisting performance assessment in Shouqin company and puts forward the idea ofimproving and remaking the existing performance assessment based on the indexsystem. It also introduces systematically the contents, methods and measures of eachpart for the improvement and remaking procedure and raises the assessment andsafeguard for the restructured performance assessment system in Shouqin company.First, the research objective and relative theories are made clear. The researchbackground and importance of the performance assessment are elaborated and analysisis drawn on status quo of both domestic and overseas and the research content is madeclear. Introduction has been made for the important theoretical methods for theperformance assessment for both domestic and overseas, which lays a solid theoreticalfoundation for the research of this topic.Second, analysis is made for research object and causes are found for theproblems. Brief introduction for shouqin company is made and analysis is drawn onthe status quo of the performance assessment of Shouqin company. Prominentproblems are found and deeper analysis is made to offer basis for optimizing therestructuring of the performance assessment of Shouqin company.Third, optimization and restructuring of performance assessment system of Shouqin company is implemented. Based on the analysis results, optimizing andrestructuring of the performance assessment system of Shouqin company is put forwarded.Concrete elaboration on the principle and content of restructuring and is made theimportance of index system is emphasized in stimulating the staff and quantifying theperformance assessment criteria.Finally, analysis is made on feasibility of the optimizing and restructuring. Thesystematic evaluation is made on the performance assessment system of Shouqin companyand some safeguard measures such as system guarantee and organization assurance are putforwarded to make sure that they are being perfected during implementation and givingfull play.
