Construction And Implementation Of ERP System Under CIMS Circumstance

With the Chinese entering of WTO and the development of economic globalization, the manufacturing enterprises in China will be confronted with more severe competition than ever. Therefore, to improve the informatization of manufacturing enterprises is becoming the necessary or the only way to make them survive and develop. Enterprise Resource Planning (EPR) is an important component in the building of informatization and modern management system, which embodies the managing thought of the accommodation chain. In the context of market economy, enterprises need more effective management instruments and modes. And for every enterprise EPR, as the outcome of combination of the advanced management concepts and IT technology has become very useful tool to improve the management and enhance competitive power. But at the same time the ERP has to face with new problems, such as, how to improve its integration with the computer integrated manufacture system (CIMS) and how to utilize the advanced management concepts into the real performance for the manufacturing enterprises.The paper points out that the solution is to realize the informatization in manufacturing enterprises and then to accelerate industrialization, based on the actuality of manufacturing enterprises in China and the ardent competition with which they are confronting at home and abroad. The paper separately introduces the theoretical system, the history and the development tendency of CIMS and ERP which both are representative models for informatization of manufacturing enterprises. And it deeply discusses the main frame and the related pivotal technology about CIMS and ERP. The paper dissertates about the conformity of EPR and new the new technology, and the integration of EPR, JIT and BPR, from the point of integration that is the most distinct trait of EPR in the context of CIMS. Therefore, the in-depth research to the construction and implementation is essential to the paper. What is more, even in the process of researching the construction and implementation, the integration thought and theoretical system mentioned in previous chapters of the paper are followed.
