With the rapid development of information technology, the more and more computer technology into the daily management of the work. As a library of university knowledge center, the informationization management must pay attention. With the expansion of colleges and universities, the library size increases with each passing day, contradictions caused by daily management of the library information level problem becomes more and more outstanding. Library bibliographic traditional retrieval methods have been unable to adapt to the development of the library, to solve the problem cannot be solved in the bibliographic retrieval by means of computer information is an inevitable trend.Higher vocational colleges to the expansion of the scale of library management information requirements will be higher, design efficient for bibliographic retrieval system, our school library, is to use information technology to help the library of Higher Vocational Colleges on the books for scientific and effective management, to provide convenient bibliographic retrieval for readers, so as to reduce the workload of traditional manual management and a large number of data redundancy, realization of bibliographic retrieval of the information science and technology.The main work of this paper is:first, Review of research on related techniques used for the analysis and design in the paper, a detailed analysis of system requirements, including the business requirements, functional requirements, data requirements and non functional requirements, given the bibliographic retrieval, classification guidance, navigation, reading book report, alert services, borrow the function, book entry, reader recommendation, personal messages, loan browsing system management and use case diagram and the use case description, the non functional requirements; Second, On the basis of the demand analysis, the system design, including the overall design, function module design and database design, the package diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram and activity diagram to express the specific design of each functional module, using the method of E-R expression given database design entity relationship diagram and database table structure.
