In the past20years, China economic development process of reform and openingup, the apparel industry accounted for a large proportion of small and medium-sizedenterprises, occupy the important position in export. In recent years, development in theface of the new economy and Internet, in the face of economic globalization and marketintegration competition, especially the change of macro policy and environment at theend of2001China since joining the WTO, the garment industry is facing a series of newchallenges: how to deal with, continuous innovation, take the initiative to change, toaccelerate the pace of, and actively in the new environment, improve competitive ability,relative to their peers. Compared with large enterprises, small and medium enterprisesin the organizational structure of the clothing enterprises, the implementation ofcompetitive strategy, financing channels, design and marketing, or production, logisticsand human resources management, is not the same. In this paper, China’s small andmedium-sized garment enterprises as the research object, according to their status,application strategy focused on Competitive Intelligence in small andmedium-sizedgarment enterprises. In this paper, the application of competitiveintelligence analysis of the macro environment analysis of small and medium-sizedgarment enterprises, analysis of Potter’s five forces model,value chain, analyzes thecharacteristics of small and medium-sized garment enterprises, according to thesecharacteristics, to explore afeasible strategy for enterprise quality requirements, the needfor research, enhancing its market position. And by using the method ofmarket survey,collect a lot of problems of small and medium-sized garment enterprises in thecompetitive intelligence consciousness, the need to strengthen the integration. The lastchapter of C garment enterprise were analyzed and countermeasures were putforwardfeasible strategy, truly achieve the use of competitive intelligencestrategy toimprove the practical significance of the competitiveness of enterprises.
