| At present, the data of meter is generally collected by manual modes in China. The efficiency of manual meter reading is very low, and it requires a long work cycle. At the same time, the data collected may not be accurate, due to the staffs mistakes. In terms of management, the stuff cannot get users’ consumption information by the manual mode timely. To solve this problem, this paper puts forward a low power wireless meter automatic routing algorithm based on the wireless network technology. By using this algorithm, meters with wireless communication capability can realize the function of automatic routing and self-management, and meter data can be uploaded to the sink node automatically.This paper firstly introduces the research background and present research situation of domestic and abroad, and then proposes an automatic routing algorithm based on the hierarchical routing, with reference to the energy balance control strategy and topology control strategy. By this algorithm, the network is divided into some relatively independent set clusters, and by using periodic works to reduce power consumption of the system. In this algorithm, the remaining energy and location information of nodes are introduced into the selection process of cluster head nodes. In this way, nodes with low energy can avoid to be elected to the cluster head nodes. At the same time, this method can reduce the network energy consumption and prolong the survival time of the network. Stochastic delay mechanism is introduced into the selection of cluster heads, which can effectively avoid chaos in network caused by nodes with the same energy. Then the algorithm is simulated on MATLAB. The simulation results show that the division of network is more reasonable compared to low energy adaptive clustering hierarchy algorithm, and the new algorithm can prolong the network lifetime of network and improve the utilization of energy. Finally, through the hardware platform, the feasibility of the algorithm and the actual parameters are determined. |
