Over the years, with the transformation of the educational system of the troops, all military academies and educational institutions have transformed into professional education from the traditional academic education, a variety of training classes increased greatly, more and more students attended training, and the education system archived a large number of information data about students. But the management method which most educational institutions used to manage student information remained in a comparatively backward state, is still in the stage of manual operation of electronic documents. As new knowledge and new skills communicator, the laggard technology means in educational institutions has seriously hampered the process of military informatization.The thesis is on the background of design and implementation process about the Officers and Soldiers Training Assistant Decision System which is used in a base educational institution, a subsidiary of a General Armament Department base. In this paper, data warehouse and data mining technology are used to manage troops training data, achieved the purpose of decision support. The main results are as follows:1. Established a unified data warehouse to analyze and manage data.The establishment of an officers and men training data warehouse based on SSAS platform, which can analyze and use data to improve the efficiency of data access from different angles.2. Realized the selection function from training students.Analyze the key factors that influence student achievement in basic information by using the decision tree algorithm. Establishment a training student selection model to facilitate the units selecting right people to attend training.3. Achieved the function for course preference analysis.Find the correlation between each course to provide decision support for course arrangements, by making use of association rules algorithm based on student grade data of course.4. Designed a user management interface.Design an easy-to-use user management interface to access the data warehouse, so that users can run data mining models conveniently, and visually view the results.
