The numbers of students in colleges and universities have alsoincreased significantly in recent years. In order to manage the digital information forthese students, many universities establish their own database management system.Hebei North College is no exception, and it also establishes an educationalmanagement system. However, the system can only achieve querying, modifying andsimple computing functions, is without data analysis capabilities. In order to improvethe teaching level, moving to the direction of university, Hebei North Universityperforms the teaching reform every year, and modifies teaching programs andcurricula. Developing a reasonable teaching plan needs to know in advance the linksbetween the various disciplines. Recruiting students suiting for some specialty needsto know that whether the student will graduate with a good score.Therefore, this paper made improvements on the basis of the existing studentdatabase, and applied association rules mining algorithm and decision tree algorithmto the existing student database system, so the mining capabilities and classificationforecast ability of database can be increased. In detail, use Apriori algorithm in datamining to mine the relationship between the college entrance examination scores andthat of university courses, and so the teaching plan can be formulated effectively. UseC4.5decision tree algorithm to mine the relationship between the college entranceexamination scores and the graduate scores, and thereby the recruitment of studentscan be arranged reasonably.The basic structure of this paper is as follows. Firstly, filter the original datainformation and select the relevant data to be analyzed; Secondly, in order to ensureaccurate data mining, make data preprocessing to the original data; Thirdly use apriorialgorithm to mine the relationship among entrance mathematics score, entranceChinese score, entrance English score, advanced mathematics score, probabilitytheory and mathematical statistics score, data structures score and C++score.Moreover the relationship among advanced mathematics score, probability theory andmathematical statistics score, data structures score and C++during the college periodis also mined. Then we use C4.5decision tree algorithm to establish the relationshipamong the entrance mathematics score, entrance English score, entrance comprehensive score and graduation score, so we can predict the graduation scores ofstudents. Finally, use SQL Server2005software and Microsoft Visual Studio2010software to implement, and the results are displayed with interfaces.Through the analysis of the results,the relationshio mined in this paper isreasonable,and the forecasting accuracy rate is85.7%,with reference value.The improved educational management system can help the administrators ofHebei North University grasp the professional school building, make reasonableteaching plan and syllabus, promote professional development. At the same time, theadministrators can focus on certain aspects of the ability in the recruitment accordingto the characteristics of different professional. Thereby enroll the most suitable stud-ents. In addition, it can help students to find their own professional development ofroads, to teach students in accordance with their aptitude, help students to maximizethe realization of life value.
