| Higher education management system as an important part of the university digital teaching has accumulated a lot of data for years, but has not been good for mining and research. In contrast, data mining in insurance, telecommunications, financial and other fields has been widely used and obtained a good income, while education information mining and knowledge discovery research and development is rarely. In order to obtain useful knowledge from a large number of the teaching data, and provide better services for the university teaching, management and scientific research, this paper combines higher education management system and data mining technology and study teaching quality assessments and student performance analysis, improves interrelated algorithm,analysises the results,acquires interesting information.The article proposes the research background,the domestic and abroad research status,the concepts of data warehouse and data mining, the main data mining technologies, data mining architecture and operation process.Second,analysises data mining application in higher education management system, proposes two analysis themes including teaching quality assessments and student performance analysis, then introduces the education data warehouse, gives based on the SQL Server data mining solution, researches them with association rules and decision tree respectively, introduces and optimize the related algorithms, data mining implementation. Finally, mines the relevant data, and makes a preliminary analysis of experimental results, the conclusions of the work have some significance on university teaching. |
