| With develop of society, spiritual demand has played an important role in people’s daily life. More and more People pay attention to read books and borrow books from libraries.It is necessary to develop a perfect automatic books management system to help these librarise to manage these informations.Therefoe,how to design and bulit a more efficient,more intelligent,more distribution library management system is becoming a question to libraries.This paper descirbes the design and development process of a library managemet system which based on the MVC model. The new system select MySQL as back-end database, use ths JSP design of web page,adopt MVC design pattern and the open-source framework Struts.The new system is much more conveint and easier to use then old one.Using B/S modle has mang advantages,such as it is more cheaper and easier to update; it has a strong distributed capacity;it can only work by browser on different operating systemse,etc.This page analyzes the needs of the library managerment system.There are three kinds of users such as administrator, workers reader;and six functions such as book managerment,reader managerment,borrow and return managerment, system managerment,information managerment.It also shoot for a feasibility study about economy,technology and operation of the library management system.Through the analyze of system, the system is compiled by MyEclipse and Macromedia dreamweaver and tested by Web-CT.Finally,the test shows that the system is able to deal with the daily works of the library,and it achieved the expected assumption of funcitons and requirements. |
