Suzhou University of Science and Technology is a comprehensive undergraduate institution with giving priority to engineering and coordinated development of multidisciplinary, along with the rapid development of the school career, the school size is growing rapidly, and the internal management affairs are gradually increasing and increasingly complex. However, the existing management systems the university had are all small and decentralized systems, which not taking into account that the future development would cause cross-cutting issues for management at the begging, so that the existing systems are difficult to adapt to the current form of management, especially the management of experimental teaching. The original experimental teaching management system has poor interface, slow reaction and low management efficiency, which is severely hampering the development of experimental teaching of Suzhou University of Science and Technology and the pace towards to the domestic first-class university.The intelligent management system for experimental teaching of Suzhou University of Science and Technology uses the most widely used and stable JavaEE technology, which is universally used in today’s enterprises and institutions, as the development environment. In terms of database management, using Oracle10g developed by the Oracle Company. The system interface adopts the front-end interactive framework of extJs and Htm15technology, making interaction of the system more user-friendly and interface more beautiful and simple. System design uses UML technology, making the function of the whole system more clear and the structure more specific. The relationship between the functions of each module also become more clear and bright, effectively improving the development speed and management of the system. The system development uses Spring, Struts, Hibernate structure, making interaction of the system more clear, achieving the design concept of high cohesion and low coupling between the internal modules, and effectively improving scalability of the system. The development model of the system adopts MVC, reducing the dependence between modules.The system consists of four major management modules, experimental teaching management, experiment center management, experimenter management, and system management. Experimental teaching management module includes schedule setting, class records management, performance management, experimental class management, and teaching plan management, etc.. Experiment center management includes businesses of viewing experimental installation, experimental instrument information maintenance, experimental instrument repairs, etc. Experimenter management mainly includes personnel management and group management. System management mainly includes account management, college bulletin management and school calendar management.After the development, making comprehensive tests for the whole management system, including functional testing, reliability testing, security testing, etc., to perfect the system, finally the system successfully deploy at Suzhou University of Science and Technology and be efficiently operated. Excellent system design and system implementation makes Suzhou University of Science and Technology advance in the development and progress of the experimental teaching management by leaps. The system fundamentally solve the bottleneck problem faced by experimental teaching of Suzhou University of Science and Technology, helping Suzhou University of Science and Technology get another solid step towards to the goal of being one of the domestic first-class universities.
