Under the support of the country’s power of science and technology strategy and develop China by talent strategy, Weifang institute of science and technology made great progress in scientific research, student management, international exchange. With the development of the school, it’s management affairs gradually increase. But the school’s existing small dispersion system causes management chaos, low execution efficiency by not considering school’s development and crossed function. It seriously hindered the school’s development of being first-class university in China. And with the progress of computer technology, especially the development of Internet technology and database technology, many enterprises are devoting themselves to develop multiple management system, which is proved efficiency through comparison. So through the present situation of Weifang institute of science and technology and the domestic development situation, we can know that the development of a large synthesize management information system is the only way to solve the current development bottleneck in Weifang institute of science and technology.The system uses JavaEE platform, which is most extensive and stable in the current application in enterprises and institutions. In order to give a guarantee to the system stability, using Oracle10g database to store information. System interaction and the appearance of the interface is guaranteed by using the interaction framework in ExtJS in the aspect of system interface. In the aspect of system design, the use of UML technology makes the functional relations and class relations to be more obvious, also effectively improve the efficiency of system development. At the aspect of the system development uses the MVC design model, decreased the dependence between the various business systems. In the aspect of database design, using E-R diagram method, made the relation of the system data between the tables more clear, more easily change to the corresponding class. The system uses white box testing methods for the comprehensive test to the system, making the system’s functional requirements guaranteed.The system has five functions including enrollment management, student status management, financial management, leader management and system management. Enrollment management mainly realizes new students’ registration and enrollment management business. Student status management mainly realized query statistics business on new students, old students and status transfer information. Financial management mainly realizes statistics business on new, old and status transfer students’ payment. Leader management is mainly responsible for the calendar inquiries, student information query, student payment business query. System management is mainly responsible for the setting business on school’s faculty, professional, class, role, fees standard, system menu and so on.After the completion of system development, a comprehensive test was carried on the system, which including functional testing, reliability testing, security testing and so on. Through continuous modification and improvement, the ultimate system has been running in Weifang Institute of technology. Because of the excellent system design and implementation, the management efficiency has been greatly improved in Weifang Institute of science and technology. The system provided a fundamental solution to the bottleneck problems that Weifang Institute of science and technology facing, providing technical support for being the first-class university.
