"Southern Weekend" "On The Assessment" Study Of Ideological Content

The Southern Weekend that was founded in1984, is growing from an auxiliaryleisure newspaper to a serious newspaper which has social responsibility,influence and credibility in less than thirty years. After the revisionin June2007, comments appeared in the Southern Weekend and formed the mainselection of the newspaper. The section “assessment of assessment” wasthe new form to the Chinese people. The newspaper editorial picked up theimportant reports from the famous foreign media, and gave the new editorialcomments to match them. In this paper, the Southern Weekend in the pastfive years in which the “assessment of assessment” section,was detailedanalysed with the characteristics and expression, and the author also sumsup the value of “assessment of assessment”. The author thinks that,“assessment of assessment” section is through common sentiments angleto carry on the supervision by public opinion, and the wide vision guidesreaders to the enlightenment, and at the same time enhance the subjectiveconsciousness of civil, and is conscious to undertake the social role of“public instrument”.
