The Design And Implementation Of The ERP System For IT Service Company

The thesis analysis the practical problems faced by IT service company in development and implement of ERP system. After deep survey and analysis of work flow management and system needs, with core ERP management theory as guidelines, the paper designs the ERP system for IT service company. All business receipt approval are achieved by self-developed work flow engine. System is developed in B/S mode, with Windows/Linux as web server, PHP+JQuery as development language, SQL Server as business data base, Oracle as accounting system data base.The thesis introduces the overall function module structure of ERP system, rules of data base design, security design of the system, and system optimizing mechanism, etc. Moreover, it discusses the design and implement of work flow, purchase reimbursement, and warehouse management module. It also investigates into mobile approval area as mobile becoming a big trend.First, based on the problems faced by company in development and implement of ERP system and the background of the project, the paper distinguishes function needs and non-function needs of the system, and illustrates system needs in forms of flow figures, example figures and needs instructions.Based on needs analysis, we design ERP system structure for company. At first, we set target and rules of system design based on system needs, and then design both system function structure and technical structure. In function structure design, our analysis defines all parts of the system, sorting out the business process of every module. With technical structure, our main considerations are expandableness and maintainableness of the system as well as performance.Then, the paper discusses design details of the system based on system structure, giving detailed description of all modules. In the process of constructing modules, we investigate and collect all sorts of system functions and made clear the good and bad of them. In the next step, with detailed design, we realized each function modules of the system. The development process includes unit test by development engineers, after that, test engineers would go through overall function and pressure tests module by module.Finally, we give a simple introduction of how the ERP system works and give some advice to make it better.In a word, based on analyzing business needs of the company, we design and implement the ERP system for this IT service company.
