Design And Implementation Of A Triple Play Based Digital Home Intelligent Terminal

In recent years, with the rapid development of internet and Internet of Things technologies, it is possible to enable Internet of Things to access the internet, the triple play of internet intelligent terminals integrate digital home networking become a trend, which provides basis for the digital home support.In this paper, we first introduce key technologies of triple play STB where hardware, software and the realization of STB are described. On this basis, we describe the function of the implementations on the integrated digital home gateway. In the hardware part, we introduce the design of the SMP8653platform, hardware design are given the whole frame structure, analyzed the main control chip SMP8653, storage interface, audio and video interface, network interface and digital home interface. In the software part, we present our software infrastructure where system layer, middleware layer, user interaction layer and application layer are elaborated. Finally, we validate our methods. The testing results show the effectiveness of our proposed method.
