The Design And Implementation Of The Educational Administration Management System For Shandong Yingcai University University

With the popularization of computer networks and the rapid development of Internet, computer networks and technology have become a powerful driving force for economic and social development. The application of computer network technology in educational management of higher institutions has extensive and far-reaching significance. In recent years, with the introduction and implementation of expansion policy in student enrollment in the higher institutions, the scale continues to expand and the number of students increases dramatically, leading to increasing tensions of teaching resources. How to make full use of the scarce teaching resources and to further improve efficiency, so that standardization of management information, scientific statistics and rapid scientific inquiry become possible, has become the focus of management in the higher institutions. This paper uses Shandong Yingcai University as the prototype, designs and implements an educational management information system applicable in institutions of higher learning. System development environment is based on Microsoft’s Visual Studio2003.NET and SQL Server2000. The educational management system includes a management system, enrollment status management, teaching plan management, academic performance management, schedule management, test management and so on. Some functions of this educational management system have been put into use; they prove to have effectively improved and standardized the educational administration, and they have won the users’ recognition and affirmation.The main work of this thesis is to provide a systematic need analysis according to the specific circumstances of Shandong Yingcai University, and to carry out a research on the overall system requirements, business requirements and system performance requirements. A system requirement analysis is given based on the educational management system and the status quo of the management. Based on this, this paper provides the system structure, function design and database design, and it illustrates some of the major functional modules of the concrete structure. Then it considers the security of the system design, aiming to solve the problems of computer network security. The final implementation of the system is given, as well as the system’s overall function, its network environment and data flow of some modules. In conclusion, this thesis summarizes the process of all the work in the implementation of the system and the concrete results, describes the characteristics and advantages of the system, analyzes the existing problems, proposes some specific work to be done in the follow-up development, and finally looks forward to the future of the Teaching Management System.
