The Design And Implementation Of College Educational Administration System

Educational administration is the foundation of modern computerized higher education. With the development of higher education reform, modern educational administration, the scale of higher education, the credit system and fewer teaching resources, the task of educational management has become more and more important. How to make great use of teaching resources and how to build versatile and intelligent systems is more important.The higher educational administration system, based on the school and colleges, executes the credit system. The system which promotes standardization of higher education includes following functions:information management of students and teachers, student achievement management, teaching plan management, course information management and instructional resources management. With the MVC pattern, Struts and Hibernate for technical support, using SQL Server 2005 database and B/S architecture, the system has strong availability, reliability and stability performance.Customizability based on customers is implemented, which is used to describe various requirements of different colleges. Teaching process based on rules is also implemented, which focuses on variable administration rules. In order to make great use of some existing data, data integration based on campus network is implemented. Based on detailed analyses of system requirements, the paper proposes the system's technical architecture, network architecture, functional architecture and data interface. Besides, the paper shows the detailed design for system security. Through a detailed description of the system's functions and the design of database tables, the paper shows the detailed implementation of the system.The paper, from the view of software engineering and IT project management, apply system development methods and project management methods to research and implement the system. Based on the methods of software engineering and project management, the paper, from system requirements analysis, system outline design, system detailed design to system implementation and test, makes users'requirements as the criteria, which guarantees the successful completion of the system.
