In the process of playing video、audio using traditional streaming media technology, the applications of the Flash plug-in are installed and loaded, resulting in dependency of plug-in for browser.Although streaming video、audio format can adapt to the use of bandwidth resources, but with the development of the network, providing higher image quality, greater fluency, higher decoding efficiency of video and audio for network development has become the urgent problem.At the same time, along with the development of intelligent mobile phone and the rise of Phone platform of Ios, Android, Windows, more and more applications have been extended to the mobile terminal, The player can’t adapt to the existing platform.HTML5is composed of HTML, CSS3and Javascript and a series of technology, aimed at reducing the depence for Webpage to traditional plug-ins such as Flash, and rely on Javascrip and CSS3to enhance the performance of web page.At present, the functions of streaming and transmission are implemented in software in webpage need to use the Flash plugin.The video and audio player are analysised, designed, implemented based on HTML5, and test the performance of video, audio transmission, and is independent of the Flash plug-ins and other video codec. The development of applications for mobile terminals is designed and proposed by using jQuery Mobile and PhoneGap framework, and a cross-platform capabilities is implemented based on HTML5, the video and audio transmission process of HTML5are also studied.by using the HTML5technology. Streaming media technology transfer agreement for the transmission of video and audio provide a reliable basis, HTML5’s native Javascript engine functions accelerate page load speed, and improve the efficiency of web transmission.The innovations of this dissertation are mainly:There is no function of cross-platform on current mainstream video、audio player.This arctic make use of Video label and Audio label on HTML5,deigning and implementing video and audio playe based on HTML5which have slove the traditional player do not have the function of cross-platform. By required to load plug-ins on the current mainstream video、audio palyer and installed different plug-ins on the different platforms,the user have low experience on use.Using technology of HTML5,this arctic have deigned and implemented video and audio player on HTML5which make use of video codec of HTML5to achieve the function of the video、 audio decoding,without inatall different plug-in on different platforms,helping user get rid of the use of plug-ins.The video which played by traditional video player is high bit rate and transmission efficiency;but the frame rate is lower, quality of image is poor; even the frame rate is low, fluency is poor on traditional video player.This arctic by comparing to video codec technology on HTML5and FLV format,verifying video codec technology on HTML5which can reduce the bit rate of video resources, improve the frame rate of video resources, improve the image quality of video resources and a little effect on video resources fluency.The transmission of video and audio is realized by using HTML5technology in this paper, and the fore-end video and audio player are designed and implemented, and we do not need to use the Flash plug-in. This system has cross platform and functions of the mobile terminal. The test results show that:HTML5format provides higher transmission efficiency, higher transmission quality, higher storage performance of video/audio, compared with the traditional FLV format.
