With the development of science and technology, human demand for security is becoming more and more extensive. Because of its real time on video monitoring records, storage of images in security, mining, transportation, communications, remote monitoring, and other fields so on obtained the huge development. But the most widely used more cable monitoring equipment, namely the camera installed in a fixed place to collect the real-time images and stored or transmitted to the monitoring terminal display through the wires. Video processing depend on the dedicated video processor or general PC, the monitoring equipment generally cost more expensive but once the camera fixed to a place is hard to go,so prone to monitor the blind Angle. On the highway, the primeval forest, large factories are not suitable for remote wiring place.Using the previous monitoring system structure model has been unable to achieve. Against such cannot solve the problem of traditional monitoring system is based on embedded system and wireless network remote monitoring system into the line of sight of people, using embedded system flexible light weight, low cost, low consumption of advantage developed monitoring system has a lot of advantages compared with the traditional monitoring system and application value.Environmental monitoring field of this topic comes from a food factory, food factory have high requirements for environmental health, food safety is related to thespecific interests of ten million people, the food safety problem got everyone’s attention, in order to be able to real-time control of food factory production workshop hygiene, asked to design a set of monitoring system can collect real-time workshop fly number, because distribution of food factory production workshop workbench is scattered, flies also concentration, simply use the camera to take pictures of the workbench also can not to fly, in order to be able to better the statistical work of the stage number of flies, within a certain range in front of the camera to collect picture placed a sticker sheet, will be within the scope of the flies is focused on a sticky fly board, using embedded system consists of the monitoring system to collect fly plate, WiFi wireless transmission to the health monitoring terminal view analysis workshop. Because the workshop is large, put more point to point, and food production workbench don’t convenient wiring, so this system was designed and implemented a mobile video surveillance system based on ARM embedded, the hardware platform of the whole system adopts S3C6410of samsung production as the processor, built around the smallest system, and extend the ZC301camera peripheral via USB interface and the USB WiFi interface, through the V4L2video collection procedures and socket communication to realize the video acquisition and transmission system, using vc++6.0development tools based on socket communication server monitoring terminal, so that we can on the PC server monitoring terminal real-time monitoring, storage, and analysis of images. Now the monitoring system has been successfully applied to a food factory production workshop in environmental health monitoring system, is well received by users.
