With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, embedded technology, Micro-electro-mechanical system and sensor technology, the wireless sensor networks technology has matured as a new information collection, transmission and processing technology. It has been widely applied in environmental monitoring, military defense, biomedical, smart home, agricultural and industrial control, remote control hazardous area and many other areas.The research of wireless sensor networks based on WiFi is designed to implement a high rate and wide range transmission wireless sensor networks. It can not only use the sophisticated WiFi technology seamless integration with existing networks, but also can reduce networking costs effectively in the area of deployment of the WiFi network, and the application prospect is wide.Compared with several common wireless communication technologies, a method of wireless sensor networks based on WiFi for the subject is proposed firstly. According to the current characteristics of several WiFi networking technology, the structure of wireless sensor networks based on WiFi is proposed. Each node of wireless sensor networks is introduced in detail later. The microcontroller STM32F103 is adopted as the main control chip. The sensor DHT11 is adopted by STA as the acquisition module of environmental parameters, and the USR-WiFi232-B WiFi is adopted to realize wireless communication. Finally, The monitoring function of environmental parameters is realized through the PC. The WEP,WPA and WPA2 security mechanisms are introduced in detail. The AES algorithm is referenced to encrypt the data. The CODA mode is adopted to solve the congestion problem of wireless sensor networks later. The security of the system is improved effectively under the assurance of the encryption level security and network communication level security.
