This article selects the electromagnetic field intensity detector as specific design objects for research and practice. In the final design results at the same time, the author also for the handheld devices on the actual use of human-computer interaction process was studied and summarized, on the market for the following handheld laboratory equipment development and design of some useful guidance. Practice content in holding the human-computer interaction research of laboratory equipment, for the practical design field strength meter, combined with previous gesture to the human body size, gestures model, gestures form of practical use to build the user to design the core of the hand machine model. Then through the handheld experimental instrument, special is the characteristic of field strength meter to carry on the literature review, investigation, data collection and analysis to build the user model of field strength meter and portable field strength meter based on user mental models interaction design method.
