With the rapid development of science and technology and the electronic information foundation, the electromagnetic radiation more interfere with our lives and health, is our life health threat. And the emergence of the field strength meter can help construction personnel test kits to prevent excessive electromagnetic radiation problem, new portable handheld field strength meter is constantly at the same time, it is not just an experiment equipment, and can be directly related to our life and health., on the other hand, the experimental equipment and instrument’s intelligent development trend is increasingly obvious, the intelligent increasingly important experimental equipment. But in the present development of the design of the field strength meter in our country is still in a relatively backward stage, high-speed development in science and technology of today is very lag.Paper from the perspective of human-computer interaction design and user experience, by using the man-machine interaction, user interviews, man-machine relationship research study on design method of handheld equipment. This article selects the electromagnetic field intensity detector as specific design objects for research and practice. In the final design results at the same time, the author also for the handheld devices on the actual use of human-computer interaction process was studied and summarized, on the market for the following handheld laboratory equipment development and design of some useful guidance. Practice content in holding the human-computer interaction research of laboratory equipment, for the practical design field strength meter, combined with previous gesture to the human body size, gestures model, gestures form of practical use to build the user to design the core of the hand machine model. Then through the handheld experimental instrument, special is the characteristic of field strength meter to carry on the literature review, investigation, data collection and analysis to build the user model of field strength meter and portable field strength meter based on user mental models interaction design method.
