Study On The Communication Of Network Public Opinion Of Environmental Group Incident

Group incident caused by environmental issues which is a new project for the society synthesis governing and stable economic development, involved a large scale and induced great social harmfulness and psychological shock. Network public opinion played key role for the development and final resolution of these issues.Due to the rapid development of internet and ever-increasing computerization, people’s environmental awareness were heightened which lead to the group accident caused by environmental issues demonstrated different features compared with the past group accident. During the disposal process, the government should pay close attention to the public opinions, analyze the network public opinion and guide public opinion as well, only in this way can the government be able to gain popular will and support which can defuse the crisis at last.A serial group incidents happened in Shifang, Sichuan province, Zhenghai, Zhejiang province and Qidong, Jiangsu province in2012. This study focused on the communication process of the network public opinion and researched its impact on the environmental group incident.The formation of the network public opinion on the environmental group incident is the comprehensive result with netizen which is the subject of the network public opinion, digital content which is the object of the network public opinion, network which is the carrier of the network public opinion, the government and social environment. Its developing and changing process went through period of rudiment, development, maturity and decline, which indicated certain characteristics.
