Researched and developed by a international company(PE), Ga Bi software is used to analysis the material metabolism and the life cycle of software. In this paper, with the summing up and evaluation of the application and the environment of the Ga Bi 6.0 both domestic and overseas in related fields and studies, also the application of Ga Bi 6.0 software in the case of environmental impact assessment, we compare and analysis the commonly used method in the assessment of the environmental impact assessment purposes, scope of the evaluation, data collection, evaluation, index the evaluation results. The main conclusions are as follows:1、The main type of environment influence of 1t hardware components(Stamping) during the production process is eutrophication of EP, accounting for 38.55% of the value of environmental impact; followed by acidification, accounting for 32.16%, and the rest, like the photochemical smog, the potential toxicity of human environmental impact value accounted for 29.29%.2、In the whole process of 1t hardware components(Stamping) production, the maximum value of the environment influence is the process of spray, accounting for 49.97%; While the difference of environmental impact in valuecutting, welding, molding, inspection, mosaic, storage is small, the proportion is 11.74%, 15.36%, 8.64%, 5.87%, 4.64%, 3.78%。3、With the analysis of the comparison of the radio of different types of the environmental impact during the different stages of production process, we can know that which type of environmental impact effect is relatively large.4、Through the analysis of Ga Bi software, we can clearly know that the plastic spray process influence the environment most. As a consequence, the construction unit should pay more attention to the stability of the production process, operation safety during the construction and operation process.5、Through the case of the environmental impact assessment, environmental impact assessment of pilots method is quite differnet from Ga Bi software evaluation in the scope of evaluation, data collection, evaluation index, while the evaluation purpose, evaluation conclusions are basically the same. But the resluts of the two evaluation methods are slightly different.The quantitative conclusion of the environmental impact assessment of pilots method mainly depends on the emissions of pollutants, while the quantitative conclusion of Ga Bi software project mainly depends on the influence of pollutant emissions on acidizing effect(AP), eutrophication(EP) and photochemical smog(POCP),(GWP) of greenhouse gases, ozone-depleting potential toxicity(HTP)(ODP), body size, and a deeper analysis of the project’s impact on the environment as well. Therefore, in the process of environmental impact assessment, by using Ga Bi software, deeper analysis of the impact on the environment after the complete of the project can be acquired. As a consequence, we can get the more accurate analysis of the feasibility of the project.
