In recent years, the problem of ecological environment pollution in China has become increasingly prominent. It has been recognized by the society for its outbreak, widespread, long duration and serious consequences. Network dissemination of information has a profound impact on the discovery and control of environmental disasters. From2010year, microblog development rapidly in China, and now it has hundreds of millions of users. Microblog has become the engine of public opinion and the network of public opinion center of the field. Because of microblog main grass-roots dissemination of the contents of the fragmentation, the propagation velocity in a timely manner, mode of transmission innovative characteristics, microblog public opinion changed the traditional field of public opinion formation and mode of action, showing different characteristics.This article makes text analysis on comments in the microblog based on Wuhan fog event in June2012. It researches on the characters of microblog opinion on environmental disasters and analyzes the influence of microblog opinion on the development and evolution of environmental disasters. The study found that the fog event in Wuhan, microblog public opinion was staged characteristics. In the initial stage, the main level of activity is particularly high, and the level of activity of the microblog body is closely related to the sound of the Government initiative. The main part of the three microblog is grassroots, government and the media. Their text also showed the different characteristics. The study found that grassroots’joking attitude was especially anxiety attitude is the most obvious. Anxiety attitude is most obvious in the rumor rumors stage. Skepticism was the most obvious early in the official voice. Attitude look forward to long-term sustainability, affected by the incident the degree of development of low-impact.The paper is divided into four parts. The first part is the Introduction, which elaborates the research background, and the purpose and significance of the study, research status review, the literature review, and the related concept. The second part is about the research methods and research design. The third part gives full introduction of Wuhan fog events and analyzes the public opinion in the microblog, for instance, period characteristics, text feature, attitude characteristics, etc. The fourth part concludes that microblog public opinion has both positive and negative impact on environmental disasters.
