Network Media Impact On The Lives Of Homosexuals Based On The Communication Sociology Analysis Of Fuzhou And Putian City

Homosexuality exists at all times and in all coutries. Homesecuality is exposed in China, as a unelectable social existence since the Reform and opening, especially after the arrival of the Internet age. This paper is based on the investigation of gay in Fujian Fuzhou and Fujian Putian, According to principles of sociological spread and methods of sociological survey. This paper discusses the impact of the Internet on ordinary audience and the special sub-cultural groups from the positive and negative. The author found that during investigation:before the Internet era, homosexuals in a state of aphasia as a result of lack of Discourse Right,neglect of official and silence of media; but as a new media and information platforms, the Internet provides rich information resources for the gay community, it provide them a platform for exchange ideas for its occult. It has a posive impact on promoting their self-awareness,enhancing their communication with the community and fighting for Discourse Right. But at the same time, the Internet has also caused homosexual trend of small age, group polarization and social moral decay and other negative phenomenon. Of course, for homosexuals, the Internet as a new technology tool whose overall effect and and the major significance is to establish self-awareness and better access to communication. All activities in the Internet will ultimately be mapped to real life, and Internet sub-cultural groups to create an atmosphere impel gay life associated from online to offline. The action from the network to return to reality enables the liberation of their mental. And it also help to avoid the spirit of the polarization and the formation of anti-social personality. In addition, the author also found two issues in the course of the study:first, Internet as a role of fuse in the family of so-called out of the closet; second, the gay pay more attention on the information about fashion, art, skin care. All these are derived from social context which combine the characteristics of Internet media and with sociological characteristics of homosexuals.
