With the development of information technology,cloud computing is widely appliedto the business,it will be the software,infrastructure and platform as a service provided tothe user via the network,Allowing the user to save the management cost of software andhardware resources.Virtualization is one of the key technologies of cloudcomputing,virtualization technology can provide more than the actual physical machinesrunning virtual machines to achieve efficient use of resources.The management of thevirtual machine and deployment for virtualization has great significance.Virtual machinehas good compatibility, security and flexibility,under the condition of service withoutinterruption,to realize the migration on physical machine.Migration of virtual machines tosimplify system maintenance and management,improve the system load balancing andoptimize system power management.Because of the large cloud computing resources,and need for effective managementcloud computing resources,major companies launched their own cloud managementplatform.On their coud platform to management resource.In2010RackSpace proposedOpenStack platform,OpenStack platform is simple to deploy, scalable large-scalefeatures,received more companies to support.Nova use API interface management ofvirtual machines on OpenStack cloud platform.This paper describes the cloud computing and virtualization technology,and focusingon the management mechanism of OpenStack cloud platform and patterns of virtualmachine migration.Based on the analysis of existing virtual machine migrationtechnology,and combined with the characteristics OpenStack cloud platform,we optimizethe simultaneous live migration of multiple VMs.Because of the shared storage clustervirtual machine have a lot of duplicate data in memory while migration process,transfer of these datas take a lot of network bandwidth,use deduplication algorithm memory dataprocessing,so that duplicate datas transfer only once in the process of migrating.Virtualmachine cluster migration can effectively improve the utilization of resources, whilereducing the clusters consumption.We validated by the OpenStack cloud platfor.The results show this method effectivelyreduces the amount of data transmission as well as network downtime and total migrationof virtual machine migration time.Relative to the direct copy of memory and memorycompression method,and with the number of migrate virtual machine increased,networkdata transfer have no significant increase,and efficient migration of virtual machines.
