The Design And Implementation Of Worklfow-based Technique Documents Management System

The management of Technical documents is an important part of enterprisemanagement. Effective technical documents management can save a lot of enterpriseresources, improve operational efficiency, and provide technical basis of documentsreusing. Furthermore, documents management system should be a cornerstone of entireenterprise information system, not just a supporter for other application systems.In this paper, a technique documents management system based on the reality ofmanufactural enterprises has been proposed. The main contributions of this paper asfollows:This paper has researched the management of static technique documents. Themanagement of static technology documents is divided into three parts in this paper,they are: storage of documents, documents lending and documents destroying. The partof documents storage is used to save information of digital documents into database andensure the integrity and security of storage process. The part of documents lending dealswith the lending applications from users. The last part manages the documents whichare out of limitation of saving date.This paper has researched active documents management based on workflowtechniques, designed and completed workflow editing and workflow managementfunctions by workflow techniques for technique documents processing. Workflowediting provides a tool that can create and edit the workflow templates, activities ofworkflow and active variables for workflow designer. Workflow management providesa running environment and software service for instances of workflow by workflow an engine.This paper has researched technique documents retrieval by using ontologytechnique and a technique documents retrieval approach based on query semanticextension has been proposed. A course of construction of the ontology knowledgedatabase has been proposed by analyzing technique documents and interacting withusers.
