Workflow Modeling Technique Based Model-Driven Architecture

Because traditional MDA does not have quite mature approach to the software development of the ever-changing business logic in the field of enterprise-level application, therefore, the specific applications of MDA would be greatly restricted. This paper applied workflow modeling technique to the development process of MDA. The problems during the MDA development process of the business models could be solved.Firstly, the traditional MDA and the workflow technique was introduced, the basic idea of WMT-MDA had been described. Secondly, the systematic framework and the key technique of WMT-MDA were researched. The integration, transformation and code generation of WMT-MDA enterprise business process had been analysed. Thirdly, using XPDL as the business logic modeling language, the principles and process of transition from XPDL document to PIM had been analyzed in detail. The conversion of mapping rules from XPDL business model to PIM had been customized. PIM had been obtained as the input of MDA. Fourthly, the XML business process models were read and analyzed. Corresponding business code model was obtained from PSM, and PSM were generated according to mapping rules from PIM. It achieved an overall framework, which from the business process model of the business model to code model could be performed automatically by MDA. Finally, WMT-MDA was applied to a quality management system, which had achieved fairly good effect.
