Hydraulic oils and lubricant are the blood of machinery equipment. Power machinery equipment can work properly is closely associated with the cleaning degree of their "blood". The domestic and international research shows that the metal abrasive particle is the most important reason which caused equipment failure. For the importance of control the metal particle of oil, many methods and instruments were produced based on the degree of oil pollution and the size of the metal abrasive particle. In order to detect the size, the quantity and the nature of the metal abrasive particle, In this paper, the traditional inductance detection chip was optimized and then innovatively made a micro-fluidic inductance oil detection chip use double solenoid method.Paper introduces the origin and significance of the article topic, describes the current detection methods, the detection capabilities, the strengths and weaknesses of the metal abrasive particles detecting. Then the paper describes the impact on the development of micro-fluidic technology for oil detection. The metal abrasive size has a relationship with the machinery degree of wear, combined with its own characteristics, this paper select the most suitable particle size measurement methods.Through theoretical analysis between metal particles and current solenoid, The paper get the inductance relationship and the structure parameters that impact on the detection ability of the micro-fluidic inductance oil detection chip, and as a basis for the detection chip optimization. And using the principle of mutual inductance designed a new type of dual-solenoid detection chip, analysis the results of the experiment between the single and double solenoid coil.Finally, experimental results show that the detection ability of the double solenoid coil detection chip is better than the single solenoid. It can detect smaller abrasive particles, and has a high signal noise ratio and the detection accuracy.
