With the rapid development of industry, hydraulic technology is widely used in large engineering machinery, aviation equipment, marine machinery and other fields. At the same time, with the increasing demand of hydraulic control of the hydraulic system, oil cleanliness is stricter.According to the statistical analysis,70%hydraulic system mechanical failures are caused by the metal wear debris in hydraulic oil.Oil contamination analysis and diagnosis technology has become an important means of state monitoring and fault diagnosis of mechanical systems. This paper is based on the detection of metal particles in hydraulic oil by inductance method.Further study the resistance method. The research contents of this paper are as follows:Study on micro solenoid magnetic field distribution characteristics. The magnetization model of ferromagnetic metal particles in micro solenoid was built. The mathematical model of micro solenoid impedance affected by eddy current in metal particles was built.Theoretical studies show that, the magnetization of the metal particles changes the equivalent inductance of the micro solenoid. And the eddy current field changes the equivalent inductance and resistance of the micro solenoid. The micro solenoid internal magnetic field distribution characteristics were simulated by COMSOL.Study on the influence of micro solenoid parameters, metal particles factors and excitation on equivalent resistance variation of micro solenoid debris sensor. The relationship between the parameters and the micro solenoid debris sensor equivalent resistance change was determined. The experimental system and abrasive particle sensor were designed.According to the simulation results, experimental study on the influence of the sensor's parameters, metal particles factors and the excitation source on resistance signal output of micro solenoid abrasive sensor. The accuracy of the simulation results were verifies. At the same time, the experimental results show that the detection effect of the non-magnetic metal particles with the resistance method is better than that of the inductance method, which has higher signal to noise ratio and lower detection limit.
