Micro-droplet technology is a technology of two kinds of not mix liquid and liquid or liquid and gas forming liquid droplets or bubbles in the package. Compare to the traditional macro technology, micro-droplet technology have advantages of high efficiency, high through-put and low consumption.Now, micro-droplet is widely used in micro-chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical and other fields. Based on micro-fluidic chip, T-type channel method is an important method for micro-droplet formation. Micro-droplets formation function have many parameters and variables, the influence of the size and shape are not only include the velocity of the fluid, the size of the channel, but also include the viscosity of fluid, microscopic surface tension, shear force and other parameters. It is limited to apply the macro theoretical formula in fluid mechanics of micro-droplet formation theory analysis. At present, micro-droplet generating theory research is still in basic stage, and did not form a unified theoretical model, in the face of different fluids and different driving method to get the theoretical formula may even completely different, to control and application of micro-droplet brought certain difficulties. This article will studied and deduced micro fluidic material limited theoretical model of poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) of T-type channels within the micro-droplet formation, revealing in micro scale micro-droplet formation rules, for the application of micro droplets in the biochemical field to provide theoretical and experimental basis.For the experimental study of micro droplets, the fabrication methods of micro-fluidic chip by investigation and analysis, compare the advantages and disadvantages of CNC processing, lithography and laser processing, the laser processing scheme of micro-fluidic chip, describes the production steps of the PMMA micro-fluidic chip.The micro-fluidic chip bonding for comparative analysis, to further simplify the micro-fluidic chip bonding, proposes new polyester material micro-fluidic chip bonding method, the polyester material model of micro fluidic chip bonding method, the chip bond to synthesize the greatly reduced, bonding time is greatly reduced, overcome the thermocompression bonding passage shape, problem is not easy to control, but also to avoid the high cost of ultrasonic welding of. The method can be widely used in micro analysis chip were fabricated.The driving method of micro-fluids are summarized and analyzed, put forward the digital micro fluid pump driving scheme, a set of micro-droplets based on experimental platform of digital micro pump, the digital two channel micro pump was designed and manufactured. The mechanical structure, based on the digital micro pump circuit and software program are introduced, have complete the prototype, meet the requirements of micro-droplet experiments, the performance is better than the commonly used injection pump in the market.PMMA material is a hydrophilic material, to reduce the flow resistance, through UV method for coating the surface of hydrophobic material surface properties on the micro-fluidic channel was modified. This paper focuses on the influence of micro channel size, frequency and length on the micro-droplet formation velocity of liquid phase of the two parameters. The calculation and analysis of the frequency and length of micro-droplet formation, theoretical formula of domestic and international relevant correction, fitting out the corresponding theoretical formula. This paper also further by changing the width of the micro channel, micro-droplet split after midnight drop volume ratio changes.Combining the micro-droplet technology and micro capsule technology, analysis and design of rapid formation of stable micro capsule of micro-fluidic chip structure, comparing T style cross micro capsule formation structure, fabrication of micro-fluidic chip and the micro channel modification. The micro capsule preparation and test of after the formation of the stability of the micro-capsules were characterized to determine the reliability of the experiment. The concentration change in the liquid phase, the concentration of birth into micro-capsules most suitable for experimental analysis. By changing the liquid flow, study on the influence of liquid flow on the micro-capsule size. The microencapsulated yeast was tested. The generation of micro-droplet technology for micro capsule can be sustained, stable, controllable, solves the disadvantages of micro-capsule particle size does not generate controllable. Provides a micro capsule to generate new ideas and technology, provides an important theoretical guidance for the application of micro-fluidic chips. The success of microencapsulated yeast for subsequent experiments, for more complex particle package provides technical basis.
