The characteristic of inductive displacement transducers are their simple structures, high output capacities, good linearity, good disturbance resistance, good stability and low prices and so on. It is the measurement instrument for translation the varying displacement of parts into electric signal to output.As a kind of precise displacement detection components in many fields, inductive displacement transducers play an important role怂As a kind of typical inductance displacement transducer, the working principle of solenoid type inductance displacement transducer is that higher sensibility and linearity will be acquired when it's ferrite moves axially in the middle of the live solenoid coil. This text probes into the displacement transducer operation principle of the inductance thoroughly, On this basis,it emphasizes the structure and characteristics of the solenoid type inductance displacement transducer,and also analyzes the magnetic induction's distribution in the Solenoid Coil.This text introduces a design of the circuit system of measuring the little distance displacement transducer measuring the little distance with the inductance displacement transducer. The AD698 is used as the core of the signal conditioning circuit, it can complete the measurement of the probe displacement of the inductance displacement transducer. The LVDT trapsformed the longitudiml machanieal displacement into measurable AC output when the probe of the LVDT contacts the surface of the objects, thus we measure the size of the displacement and direction.we could efficiently reduce the voltage drifts of the excitation signal resulting from the change of the temperature.And then the output signal processing of the LVDT using AD698 integrated chip.This circuit system could efficiently reduce the voltage drifts of the excitation signal resulting from the change of the temperature...
