The scholars compiled Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu which was masterpiece book for the bibliography in the Qianlong and Jiaqing period."Eclectic " contained a lot of heterogeneous books, Siku Archives tried to solve the eternal contradictions that reflecting academic origins of cataloge and making use of the bibliography conveniently, they creatively divided miscellaneous class. The previous generation of various directories didn’t subdivide, it was both the important innovation, but there were some problems. Their writings were included in eclectic through in-depth study, on the one hand we had the clear understanding of the pros and cons of this re-classification, on the other hand it also reflected the directory staffing levels of Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu and the academic insights of Si Ku Archives. Therefore, this paper intended to study Specially for Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu Za Jia Lei, and try to tease out the whole picture.The article combed the evolution of the importan eclectic catalog book before the Qing Dynasty from the perspective of academic history firstly, combedt,author then analyzed the the source of Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu Za Jia Lei and the its own embodied innovation. Because of the limitations of eclectic classes writings and age features, za shuo, za zuan with near thereto as miscellaneous history of the history department, fiction, reference books and others which was difficult to distinguish, and there were some involved between za kao and za shuo. Notwithstanding there were shortcomings, generally speaking, exceptly the za zuan compiled the book which it divided unclearly, za kao and other small genus’s cases were more rigorous, there were certain criteria for classification and discrimination. In the book synopsis, the textual content occupied mainly and textual method was skillful, it reflected the school’s academic standards and purportin Qian-jia period; and the expression of the archives adhered to Confucianism, advocating simple and sensible Wenge in this vast space, but also it revealed the ignorance of the Western world.
