Micro-Blog has attracted a large number of network users and become the popular social networking platform relying on the traits of interactive, concise, quick propagation velocity since it appeared. As the wide application of information carrier and transmission medium, there are many active users and real-time information in Micro-blog platform. The Micro-blogs are numerous in all walks of life published by a user. They produce a great influence on various fields through being commented and re-tweeted by fans. It has a positive effect on social aspects of each, such as diffusion of information, promotion and publicity of product, when the influence of Micro-blog users in every domain is evaluated effectively. Therefore, taking into full consideration the participation of users in multiple fields and calculating the influence of users in each domain has an important significance. Currently there are large numbers of domestic and foreign researchers have done some researches on the influence of Micro-blog users.Micro-blog originates from Twitter. There are also some difference between Twitter and Micro-blog. Micro-blog users could comment on others’information, but Twitter users can’t. However, the traditional evaluation methods about influence of Micro-blog users mainly aimed at Twitter and considered several parameters, such as the number of fans, the number of Micro-blog, the number of re-tweeted and replayed, which ignored the comments feature in Micro-blog platform. Thus, there are some limitations. To evaluate the influence of the users in various fields is of great significance, because the influence of each user is different in each domain. The traditional researches ignore the interdisciplinary nature of Micro-blog users and the cross-cutting areas characteristic of Micro-blog, and don’t calculate the influence of Micro-blog users in all areas.Hence, this paper presents the method of Calculating the Influence of Micro-Blog Users Based on Domain to solve the above problem. This evaluation method is mainly composed of KNN algorithm and Calculating the Influence of Micro-blog User Algorithm. The main works and innovations are introduced as follows.Firstly, in order to adequate consider the interdisciplinary nature of Micro-blog users and the cross-cutting areas characteristic of Micro-blog, this paper uses KNN Algorithm Based on the Domain. The algorithm divides Micro-blog into21fields according to the content of Micro-blog and the Class Label of Micro-blog text corpus. This paper obtains the total number of Micro-blog in each field through this algorithm, and ascertains which domain the Micro-blog belongs to.Secondly, this paper adds the parameters and presents the Calculating the Influence of Micro-blog User Algorithm for the sake of solving the problem of lacking impact indicators in traditional researches. The influence of Micro-blog users is essentially reflected by the interaction among users. The interaction among users is determined by the number of the commented, total online time and the registration time in addition to the traditional parameters, such as the number of Micro-blog, the number of fans, the number of the re-tweeted and the number of the mentioned. Therefore, this paper fully considers the parameters about the comments, total online time and the registration time, and presents the Calculating the Influence of Micro-blog User Algorithm.Finally, doing experiments and analyzing results. This paper has done the experiment and analyzed results of influence about the traditional method and the proposed evaluation method. The contrasting results show that the Method of Calculating the Influence of Micro-Blog Users Based on Domain proposed in this paper is more practical and reasonable.All in all, this method proposed in this paper can effectively evaluate the influence of users in all domains. It has a positive effect on commercial publicity and has a great significant for the development of Micro-blog application.
