Today, with the continuously strengthened globalization and the increasinglyfierce international competition, the cultural creative industries have been a directreality with huge economic and social benefits much more than a developing concept.Television industry is at the cutting edge of cultural and creative industries. Thedevelopment of Chinese series production, which is the bellwether of that field,having a fast pace of reform and getting the best mark, is on behalf of the latestachievement of television industrialization and this is one of the well-developedindustries. Judging from the overall scale, present situation and the developmenttrends, television industry is the most important part of the cultural and creativeindustries in our country.In recent years, the numbers of China’s TV drama production, market demandand prices are increasing; investment channels diverse and industry chains aregradually forming. TV marketing has attracted considerable attention, network mediawill have an important impact on the industry. But TV produced in China also hasexcellent quantity shortage, poor innovation, production and sales of disproportionate,serious waste of resources, shortage of overseas market expansion. TV industry can beregulated by improving quality of the script, enhancing creativity and innovation,increasing production input, a variety of financing, resources integrating, buildingbrands, paying attention to TV marketing distribution, extending the TV dramaindustry chain. The state should encourage and support the development of TVindustry, improve the laws and regulations construction and copyright protectionpolicy, to make the national TV drama industry better and faster, and further promotethe prosperity of cultural creative industries in China.
