The first Spring Festival party held by the CCTV in1983becomes a milestone of the Chinese TV program, starting from this time, the television party becomes one of the most popular shows among the TV viewers. With the development of the social economy and the increment of the audience’s needs, all kinds of TV party appear constantly,among them, the TV New Year’s EVE concert is popular with youth television audience because of its unique form and charm. From2005first appeared in the mainland screens, the TV New Year’s EVE concert hosted by most star-TV and developed rapidly. However, after nine years, the problems of the TV New Year’s EVE concert itself begin to arise; at the same time the television viewers begin to produce aesthetic fatigue on the TV New Year’s EVE concert. The development of the TV New Year’s EVE concert becomes a subject of the academia and industry.In this paper, we take the TV New Year’s EVE concert as the object; the full text is divided into three parts. First, the "Introduction" section introduces the research background and significance, the research contents and methods and the general situation of this topic. The second part is the main part of this paper, Consists of three chapters. Chapter I is a summary of TV show in the new period. Analyzing the mainstream part (such as the traditional festival part and the important festival part) and The New Year’s TV concert, pointing out that the TV part has entered the era of "group". Chapter II analyzes the patter, audience and effect of the TV New Year’s concert to show the advantage of the Hunan TV. Chapter Ⅲ, from a cultural point to analyze the TV New Year’s EVE concert in order to make a comprehensive cognition of the TV New Years EVE concert. Finally, the epilogue part. Summarizing the full text and thinking about the future of the TV New Year’s concert.The author believes that the TV New Year’s concert has its value. However, in order to meet the TV audience’s aesthetic, the TV New Year’s concert has to innovate. At the same time, satellite TVs have to make a new plan to the future development of the TV New Years EVE concert.
