The first part is the introduction, which introducing the research objectives, the significance of research, research contents, research methods and so on. The second part is the basic problems of archive alliance, which mainly including the connotation and types of archive alliance as well as the necessity and feasibility of practicing archive alliance. First knowing the archive alliance and exploring whether it is necessary to be set up, then, discussing whether it is feasible. The third part is about the building of archive alliance under information environment. First is introducing the organizational model of archive alliance, then the construction of archive alliance systems. The five systems are integrating system, sharing systems, application system, management system, and evaluation system. Last is the safeguard construction of archive alliance organization. There are four aspects of financial support, legal guarantee, applying knowledge management and establishing the benefit coordinated mechanism, in order to escort the construction and implement of archive alliance. The fourth part is the cases of information resource sharing. It begins to introduce the prototype of archive alliance, which according to the platform of public opened resource sharing of archives information and search system cross institute Guangdong archives.
