Archives Information User Research

With the rapid development of archives work, it is an important means for people's to the using archive information and resources has become life and work, there is a great increase in numbers of people who use archive information. It has been a urgent task to do research on the archive information. Based on traditional research on archive information users, this paper studies archive information users and problems involved in the research on archive information users systematically, standing on the shoulders of research findings of bibliology and informatics on information users. The thesis is made up of four parts.The first part is the Introduction, which is mainly about the research purpose and significance, the status quo of research on archive information users at home and abroad, and the content, design, method and innovation of the research.The second part is the basis of the study. First, the concepts of archive information users are analysed in this part. The characteristics and classification of archive information users and the importance of work on archive information users follow it. All of these serves as the theoretical basis of the thesis.Part three analyses problems involved in work on archive information users and the reasons for them, which are reflected in four aspects. What goes the first is the weak archival consciousness of the people and social consciousness of archives clerks and the reasons for them. The second is that the information competence of archive information users requires improving and the reasons causing it. The third is dissatisfaction of archive information users with the need on information and the reasons for it. What goes in the last place is that the team of archive information users requires urgent extension and its reasonsThe responses to ameliorate work on archive information users are put forward in the fourth part of the thesis. The writer holds the opinion that the archival consciousness of the people and the social consciousness of archives clerks should be strengthened, publicity efforts should be increased, information competence of archive information users should be improved, the need of archive information users should be well satisfied, and the team of archive information users should be expanded.
