With the development of integrated circuit technology, which has reached to thedeep-submicron era, SoC becomes the inevitable outcome of this era. What’s more, SoC willbecome the inevitable trend of the development of IC design in the future. The SoC design andverification platform can provide design and verification support for the SoC designers, making itmore quickly to develop a variety of specific SoC products. So it has good research significanceand application prospects. And the thesis uses the domestic embedded CPU, CK803, as themicroprocessor core of the SoC design and verification platform. That would be of greatsignificance to promote the applications of the domestic embedded CPU in various fields of SoCchips design.The thesis uses CK803as the embedded processor, and uses the AMBA2.0bus as theinterconnection architecture and integrates a variety of general IP modules to achieve a SoCdesign and verification platform based on CK-CPU. And this platform can provide general RTLdesign and functional verification support for SoC chips in different application areas based onCK803.The thesis identifies the structure of the SoC design and verification platform based on theCK803embedded CPU, AMBA2.0bus, and functional IP modules. The thesis achieves the designof AHB bus, which consists of the bus arbiter, central decoder, multiplexer and other modules.The thesis also gives out the design of AHB/APB bridge and the DMA controller. Moreover, thethesis achieves the design of functional modules on APB bus. These modules mainly containinterrupt controller, timer, watchdog timer, SPI interface, PWM controller, I2C interface, UARTinterface. At last, by integrating the CK803VMC, the AMBA bus and the generic functionalmodules, the thesis achieves the SoC design and verification platform.Using the co-verification theory based on RTL, the thesis achieves the functional verificationmechanism and procrdure of the platform.The simulation results show that the thesis meets the expectations.
