Industrial pipe machine is a device that can continuously process pipe into certain pipe diameter. Pipe cutting machine matching with the tube making machine is needed in order to process a certain length of pipe. At present domestic pipe cutting machine is used mostly static cutting way, when tube processing to the set length, the relay control system enables the cutting machine clamping device clamp the pipe. Then cutter move together with the pipe and alignment cut. Limit switch positioning accuracy is not high of this method and cutter and pipe has the relative sliding, so processing accuracy is not high, it is about5mm. A chase scissor dynamic cutting control system is designed in this paper, which cutter and pipe relatively synchronous movement and relatively static cutting. This method has high positioning accuracy, no wear and no relative sliding, the positioning accuracy is less than2mm. It not only ensures the cutting precision, but also guarantees the smooth pipe diameter.In accordance with the actual processing requirement of the pipe, this paper carried out the overall program analysis and design of synchronous dynamic chase cut control system and determined synchronous dynamic tracking algorithm. The built-in electronic cams sport PLC controller20PM00D is used and chase cut parameters of spindle length, auxiliary shaft length, synchronization rate, synchronous length, synchronous starting point, synchronous endpoint are calculated. The electronic cam curve that met a variety of pipe diameter processing requirements is generated by the formula method. Design and set up electromechanical control system that can meet the chase cut to cut control requirements. According to the parameter requirements such as control accuracy and the drive power, all kinds of electrical and mechanical equipments of the system are selected and designed. Electrical device uses high-resolution optical encoder to measure pipe speed and length and servo motor and servo motor drives as actuators. Cutter gearing with a high precision linear guide and screw is used. On this basis, a hardware circuit is build in this paper and the PLC control programs of meeting control requirements and the touch screen applications of meeting man-machine interface detection control requirements are programmed. Through simulation testing, the system realized the function of pipe length, speed detection and synchronous chase cut. A variety of error sources are analyzed in the paper. Through the simulation test and field testing, the system errors are corrected and compensated. The results show that control error of low-speed dynamic synchronization chase cut system is less than0.5mm. Compared to the inverter control scheme and the relay static cutting program, the control accuracy is greatly improved which has a broad application prospect.
