Design And Development Of Video Surveillance Svstem Software

With development of China’s economy and society, the demand for security is increasing. Among all kinds of security systems, the video surveillance system, due to its characteristics such as large scale, high cost, and complex technology, has become the system of the top priority. In such context, it has become an important issue that how to design and develop a video surveillance system which is highly integrate, highly compatible, flexible to the access of third party systems and upgrade of old systems.In this dissertation, the application issues and the importance of a video surveillance system and the current in this direction were introduced. More specially, a highly compatible software framework of the video surveillance system was proposed, which included operation mode, data storage structure, modules, and the interoperability among modules. According to the front-end equipment of different manufacturers, a plug-in style access method was proposed, an implementation based on dynamic link library was also given. And an image correction algorithm based on the geometric imaging model and was developed. For real time applications, a fast method based on cache and an optimal method of bilinear interpolation were proposed. In order to use a wide angle camera, a fisheye camera and other special resolution cameras, a raster-based configurable video display area division method was proposed. Finally, a summary and outlook of this paper was given.
