| The remote video surveillance system is of great importance to guarantee the industry, people's life and the safe of the society and has been widely applied in the safeguard and supervision of the site such as power station ,banks ,traffic ,marketplaces, warehouses and so on. With rapid advances in communication and multimedia computing technologies, the remote video monitoring is applied more and more widely and the requests become higher, so a remote video surveillance system with higher performances would has upstanding foregrounds.Software component technology is reusable software unit, by which complicated application system can be separated into some realizable, easily developmental reusable software unit Component-based development method is a process that constructs application system based on component, reusing one or some components of component pool. Software component technology and component-based development have been turned into leading trend in the software industry in the future.This paper introduces component technology to the Remote Video Surveillance System and takes some helpful attempts on it. In the development of the project "Remote Video Surveillance System" ,the paper systematically discussed the technology of software reuse and component, and a design model of remote video surveillance system based on components is given. A model is built to the remote video surveillance system using UML technology, the design of the system and design some components. |
