Based On BI Technologies Government Website Log Analysis System Design And Application

After more than a decade’s development, governmental website has become an important means for the government to upgrade its performance in public management and service. Governmental website is responsible for publicity, information disclosure, service, etc. It is a window for giving full play to the service-oriented government. Governmental website has created conditions for enhancing the government’s public management capability. The government is able to use all kinds of new technologies to manage, collect, process, transfer and communicate information in a faster and more economical way. Via governmental website, the public has a timely access to all sorts of information concerning the government and the government can also keep abreast of and respond quickly to the public’s requirements on public services so as to meet the public’s demands to the maximum extent.Governmental website has accumulated large amounts of data. The competent departments are fully aware of the importance of the data and have stored and duplicated the data. Currently, we have not formed a mechanism concerning how to conduct a statistical analysis of the mass data, let alone deep analysis and apply the mechanism at certain scale. This thesis focuses on BI application to governmental website. The author mainly fulfills the following tasks:(1) recording web logs according to a certain format, and analyze it for further statistical analysis;(2) conducting multi-dimensional statistical analysis of site data in terms of the website visits, access area and sources, to provide reference to the website maintenance, promotion and leadership decision-making;(3) conducting a statistical analysis of the hotspot service to indentify the actual needs of the public visit;(4) helping the public find out their needed information quickly through analyzing user behavior, correlating the highly-correlated columns. With the above tasks fulfilled, a better understanding of the public’s needs can be achieved; the usage and efficiency of the date on the governmental website can see a substantial increase; and the interaction between the government and the public can be more harmonious, thusly realizing the model innovation of the government website serving the public.The website structure is optimized through Business Intelligence (BI) application to governmental website. Make a timely summary upon learning the users’ precise demands and feeling and respond to their demands through optimizing pages and adjusting columns. These showcase the service orientation of the government and pave way for the harmonious interaction between the governmental website and the public. Through a deep analysis of the website visits as well as its regularity, the daily operation and maintenance of the websites can be better planned, which guarantees its smooth operation.
