In this thesis, chaos synchronization in two erbium-doped single-ring fiber lasers was investigated with numerical simulation and experimental study.Two synchronization methods were given for the numerical simulation. In the numerical simulation of chaos synchronization, both the EOM and OAT were used in the dual-ring erbium fiber laser system and to drive two single-ring erbium ring fiber lasers. An experimental system was set up in which using the dual-ring erbium fiber laser synchronization while changing the strength of the driving system. The results of the experiment were analyzed and had a good conclusion with numerical simulation.Both the numerical simulation and experiment study indicate that the dual-ring erbium fiber laser with EOM and OAT can generate chaos. The chaos synchronization can be realized by using these chaos to drive two single-ring erbium fiber laser. |
