Furnace No.3of the TISC3500mm plate steel plant is the new project which alleviate the shortage of both furnace heating capacity, and match rolling rhythm of production lines in2009. After be completed it will provide heating capacity of the entire production line, and reduced the time of waiting, accelerate the production pace.In this paper, it will study comprehensively furnace control system of domestic and international,be based on design and implementation of the3furnace automatic control system,study various aspects of. the proposed system general framework, design and implementation methods, and tracking and automatic positioning of a detailed analysis and description.Furnace No.3of the TISC3500mm plate steel plant is composed with basic level and monitor-level.Base level is responsible for site data acquisition, signal detection, providing complex control functions, controlling output and communicating with WinCCMonitor-level which running in the two computers, monitor-level is responsible for screen display, displaying conditions, a variety of parameters of adjustment, display of curve, printing reports, monitoring alarms, and various management functions.In order to ensure transmission of information slab timely and accuracy, improve level of automation furnace area, it design tracked system and positioned system of the slab, Through the analysis of the tracked system, positioned control strategy,it can achieve accelerated pace of the furnace zone length and make it match with the rolling line.The use of Siemens S7-400and the WinCC configuration software, complete well all operating procedures and displays of operation,Furnace No.3has been running well since one year, it can be well fit with the production requirements, and reduce operator’s labor intensity, it has been comed to the original design.
