Design Of Automatic Control System Of Type ZL-2Horizontal Vacuum Furnace

Programmable Logic Controller(hereafter, shorted as "PLC") is a kind of numerical control device specially designed for the industry and engineering in complex environment, which takes the Embedded Microprocessor Unit as the key, with the function module of digital logic and Analog Input And Output(shorted as "AIO"). The PLC is the most universal instrument of industrial control used in mechanical manufacture, chemical engineering and energy engineering, which has been widely used in industrial automation,civil and environmental engineering, attributed to high reliable even adapted to the severe industrial environment such as high temperature, high humidity, impact and vibration etc..The research subject of this thesis, coming from the project of "Design of automatic control system for type ZL-2horizontal vacuum furnace" in Xi’an Yongdian Electric Co., Ltd., develops a set of automatic control system to replace the existing control system of ZL-2horizontal vacuum furnace, at the same time, the new control system gives the practical solutions to the existing problems of ZL-2horizontal vacuum furnace. Without great changes, just renovation of equipment with a less investment brings the product quality improvment and labour efficiency advance.The presented article mainly describes the design of automatic control system of type ZL-2horizontal vacuum furnace, covering the design and manufacture of hardware, and software development for process controlling. The thesis mainly dissertates the complete automatic control system, composed of the key Omron PLC type CPM2AH, Shimaden temperature control unit type SSR, power and voltage regulating plate type PAC16P, intellect multiplex vacuometer type XG5227, X-Y recorder and pressure indicators etc. According to requirements of technical process, it is also designed alarm and protection system for valve failure, water-break, broken wire, vacuum anomaly and diffusion pump failure etc. At the same time, improved the fixed method of molybdenum strip with the designed sketch after improvement; improved key operation and video mode of station with the designed sketch after improvement.
