Research On The Algorithm And Application Of Image Enhancement Based On Wavelet Transform

Image enhancement is the key technology of image processing, especially to the pretreatment, that has important effect to the followed analyzing and processing of image segmentation、character pick-up and target recognition.First, This thesis forwarded a kind blend FFT and Wavelet transform arithmetic based on analysing several kinds common method of Image enhancement, this blend method can not only reserve details of the image, but also the edge information, From calculating the PNSR, verified preliminary the validity of this blend method.Then, investigated its application in the Imaging seeker, analysed the commonly demands to the Image pretreatment of target recognition, by means of massive simulation, compared and analysed the edge feature and statistics feature such as gray average、standard deviation and covariance, and mutual information compared to the templet from same or different source, verified further that this blend method of Image enhancement can not only reserve details of the image,but also the edge information,the result is better than common methods of Image enhancement, and can apply to the pretreatment of target recognition of Imaging seeker.Finally, This thesis investigated its application in the infrared imaging guidance Hardware-in-the-loop system, forwarded the system composition、elements and simple scheme, this part work contributed to the simulation、test and evaluation of the infrared Imaging and guiding System.
