The traditional dyeing pre-treatment consume large amounts of steam and water on fabric desizing,scouring,bleaching and washing,which characterized by high humidity, high temperatures and high ernergy consumption."Twelve Five"period,energy conservation and clean production is push forward by deying industry and the short process deying pre-treatment technology has been focused on the development, so cold reactors pretreatment has been widely adopted by the enterprises. Padder is the front dipping cold rolling equipment matching the cold reactors pretreatment, used to complete the cold rolling immersion process of cold reactors pretreatment.The topic is based on the continuous bleaching padder project of a textile plant in Jiangyin, aims to design a padder control system to meet the cold reactor pretreatment production line of the plant. This paper firstly analyzes and describes the padder system and design the overoll control scheme of the system after understanding the system’s function and technical specifications requirement. Secondly design and research the control strategy of the system,including the design of motor speed regulation system simulation, motor synchronous control strategy and tension control strategy of the system. And selects the cascade control scheme of motor synchronous and double-loop PID control scheme of tension control. Then describes the hardware and software design of the system in detail. The hardware design includes hardware selection,electrical design,system configuration and drive setup. The software design includes control software design and monitoring software design.Next is the system debugging,combining the virtual plant to debug the hardware and software.finally discusses several engineering problems.The design mainly used PLC control technology, freqency conversion technology,human-computer interaction technology and fieldbus technology. The debug shows that the system can automatically control the production process, to achieve the synchronous operation of the motor and the production site can be monitored. The system follows the principle of energy conservation in the design,which has certain guiding significance to the dyeing pretreatment production line’s upgrading.
