The Design And Implementation Of Ice Cream Production Line Control System

With the improvement of people’s living standards, the consumption of ice-cream increase. The production of food has been transferred from handmade to industry production. With the incensement of the scale of industry production, the requirement on control system is more and more complex. Since the DCS has been developing for a long time, it become rather mature, and it is a solution to control requirement from sensor level to management level.The paper is based on the cooperation between the university and a company. It designed and implemented a control system to a ice cream plant which is owned by a famous international company. The paper introduced the requirement of the control system according to the production process, which implement the Siemens S7-400CPU and SIMATIC IPC. The hardware type selection is done. The ASI bus was chosen due to the incontinence of laying the cable and the limit of the space.The developing environment of the project is the latest version software of SIMATIC PCS7V8.0. Programming the AS is done and the OS developing in the WinCC. The control system is meet the requirement when it run on the plant.
