In the industrial production, the widespread existence of a large lag, which affects the efficiency of industrial production. In order to solve this problem, researchers have put forward a variety of ways to solve the problem. Using the method to solve the problem, establishment of the model needs to be carried out under the assumption of many ideal conditions. It is usually difficult to build a model for complex and large systems.In order to solve the above questions, this paper has done the following work.1?In this paper, the feasibility of the universal model is verified by the simulation on the basis of mastering the theory of model free control. The simulation application of PID control, Smith predictive control, Internal model control and Model-free control on the two order lag objects compare the different controllers.2?This paper is aimed at the characteristics of large time lag in industrial boiler production process, Combing with SIEMENS PCS7 system. Through the design of the model free controller and the improvement of the algorithm, the control of the outlet temperature of the heat exchanger with large time lag in the boiler is realized. The application of Model-free controller in boiler control is explored, which shows its wide application prospect.
