However, if we replace all of serial devices, it will cost too much, therefore, distributed multi-serial switch server has emerged.Distributed multi-serial switch server helps the traditional serial devices to the network immediately, it is designed for Serial to Ethernet. The serial switch server can access, manage and configure distributed serial devices anywhere in the world through the network, and can achieve the interaction of data between multi-serials, which greatly expanding the communication distance of serial devices. Adding serial multiplexing exchange ideas in the basis of the traditional serial server, which can achieve serial dynamic connection, disconnect and status inquiries by signaling between serials, make the equipment more intelligent.
